This may be old news as it’s been a month since the announcement but to some of you who don’t know, Buddyfight will not release anymore new products asides from the final English sets, Ace Ultimate Booster Pack Vol. 6: Buddy Again Vol.3 ~Beyond the Ages~ and Ace Special Series Alternative Vol. 1 Buddy Ragnarok. What now?

Salvation?
If you’re like me, then you would have a plethora of cards that you wont have any use for once support ends in 2021 and maybe, you don’t know what to do with them. Here I have some suggestions that might get you your value.
1. Sell Your Cards
If you don’t want to play anymore, why not just sell them. I suggest selling via buylist to companies or sell in bulk as selling singles will take too much time.
Note: I highly encourage you to try out the other options especially if you have complete decks or powerful cards
2. Display them
This one is for those who have super rare cards like SPs or Secret Rares. All you need are sleeves (preferably clear), toploaders and a place to display it. It is a nice way to spice up your room.

3. CUBE!!
For the ones with former competitive decks or others who still want to keep it alive, a cube is the best thing for you. Like in Magic: The Gathering, a Buddyfight Cube is a set of 180-720+ cards designed to be drafted with 2-8 players, each card being a part of a specific archetype or set. If constructed properly, the cube can be so balanced to the point of nerfing broken cards without errata but with the ecosystem and self-contained meta game from the selection of cards whose synergies can outmatch even banned cards.

Unlike Magic, Buddyfight doesn’t have much cube lists online although I suggest checking out TCGBuzz‘s videos on their take on the cube.
Some may think that you may need all the secret rares to make this cube but really it’s just about how you construct it. If you want to make a cube on a budget, try getting cards from special series or trial decks (preferably newer ones).

Special Message to Takaaki Kidani and the team
Thank you for your work and what you’ve done for the card game community. This was the first card game I ever tried which leads me here. I won’t be here without you guys. May you find success in your next adventure. Have a good one!
