A turn 3 finisher that ZA WARUDO’s your opponent into submission where they can’t do anything but pray they are at 13 life when you crush them with Perfected Deity of Eon, The Endruler Dragon.
Toki Yo Tomare
With the introduction of Special Series #3 ‘The End Zero’ comes this beast of a flag. With a base of 12000 for both power and defense and a critical of 4, this boy’s a threat to be reckoned with. of course power isn’t everything (unless you’re a MAX Dragon player) so Endruler here comes with the ability of Eternal Eon which stops time on your opponent’s field!
Rulings on Stopped Time
During stoped time the following abilities cannot activate:
- [Act] or activated abilities
- When this monster (or anything else) is destroyed…
- When your opponent’s monster attacks…
- [Counter] (From either field or hand)
- Soulguard
- Lifelink
But these ones do:
- Continuous power/defense buffs
- Continuous power/defense nerfs
- Continuous protection from Destroy/Return effects
- Continuous protection from Anti Nullify
- At the end of the battle that a card attacked…
- Any effects cast before Endruler attacks
Tips on Playing Endruler
One weakness of Endruler dragon is that it has to attack alone. Though it has 12000 power, many decks such as Athora, Zerberos and even the new Cross Astrologia have power buffs to make sure you have to link attack to get through. Before you attack, set Kronos Valex on the board to get that extra nudge of power (You can even set multiple!).

Pre-Endruler Game
It will take a few turns to set Endruler Dragon and in those few turns, you can be finished easily by Lost World. Thankfully you have Time Ruler Dragon and some built in defenses to halt a 1st turn kill. Make sure to call Time Ruler Dragon for defensive purposes and make sure you don’t get him killed! Think of his souls as resources since it replenishes every turn.
Hands to low? Don’t worry cause there are a lot of spells that can easily draw cards that you might even think that you’re starting a new game!
Tips on Beating Endruler
When going against this guy is just to rush him down, especially for decks like Lost World. You can also have a defensive strategy where the defence of your monster is higher than Endruler’s power but be careful as they have a set spell that increases power.
Decks like MAX Dragons will have an especially hard time against this guy as there are so many removal effects plus they can get through the spells of Zerberos (that is if Endruler can muster enough power)
Or just stop time before he does…
Conclusion
To finish up, what I can say about this guy is that he is a mean, lean, fighting machine with you every time with little downside. He’s kind of like a walking ballista except with the weight of a castle.
…and get ready for some Jojo references
